A Social Regional group, “AREWA 100% Focus “. had vows to tackle numerous Challenges facing the entire North by uniting every northerners irrespective of party , religion and tribal affiliation with the aim of finding a lasting solution to problems that is bedeviling the region.
The Convener of the group, Dr Abubakar Sadiq Fakai stated this yesterday in Abuja during the group strategic planning meeting of AREWA like minds Critical stakeholders ahead of the July gathering àt Arewa House Kaduna.
According to Dr Fakai, AREWA 100% Focus Tagline will be on :, Human Capital Development, Community Engàgement, Sustainàble Growth, Economic Excellence , infrastructure development .
” We the young minds in the region want to start mobilize and under go sensitization of our people, gather our resoures together toward a common goal for the benefit of all in the region”.
The Secretary General, AREWA Consultative Forum (ACF), Alh Murtala Aliyu, said he personally have to attend the meeting and he is willing to support any group which aim at advancing the northern Nigeria cause .” Let me use this medium to thank the organizers of this event for thinking toward this direction because we most come together as one to solve all issues affecting us as a region, be it insecurity, educational advancement and other areas that will bring peace and prosperity to our region and this the way to go for every northeners, we must work together as one “.
The meeting attracted different CSOs, groups and individuals working for the betterment of the region.
