We’re ready for hitch-free bye-election in Yobe- Gov. Buni

The Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni on Tuesday has presided over a routine State Security meeting with the heads of security Agencies in the state.
While speaking at the meeting held at Yobe Government House, Damaturu, Gov. Buni who was represented by his Deputy, Idi Barde Gubana, said the meeting is part of the efforts to ensure a hitch-free Senatorial bye-election coming up on 3rd February 2024.
Buni explained that the meeting will deliberate on necessary steps and measures to be taken especially in areas where there are some hitches to ensure that people exercise their franchise free and fair.
He revealed that with the efforts put in place by the Government and the Security Agencies in the state, every citizen would have easy access to exercise his civic right.
