Why Gov Mutfwang’s is joining APC – Aide gives reasons

Date:

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang’s decision to dump the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), for the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), has been confirmed by his Senior Political Adviser, Mr. Istifanus Nwansat.
Nwansat, who disclosed this in an interview with journalists in Abuja, revealed that all bottlenecks for Muftwang to join the APC are being addressed, and it’s just a matter of time before making the move public.
Nwansat stated that the governor’s decision to join the APC was because of the chaos and instability in the PDP and his desire to align the state with the federal government’s presence.
“It is just a matter of time before His Excellency, Gov. Caleb Mutfwang moves to the APC,” Nwansat said.
“The impending defection of Muftwang to the APC would also align with President Bola Tinubu’s political and governance trajectory on the plateau.
“The crisis in the PDP has made the platform an unrealistic podium for political actors to contest elections.”
According to Nwansat, assessment and analysis of all the available options have shown that Mutfwang’s decision to join the APC is the safest and most desirable with the least risk factor.
“That is why the governor is moving into the APC. And again, the governor believes that it is good and reasonable enough as a leader for him to move his people to align with the President
