Gov-Yero3From Mohammad Ibrahim, Kaduna

Kaduna state Governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero said his administration is yet to initiate new infrastructural development projects due to its determination to complete on-going projects imitated by past administrations in the state.

Speaking when he received leaders and members of the Yoruba community in the state on courtesy callTuesday, the governor said the present administration believes in the ideology of continuity and will not abandon ongoing projects to initiate new ones.

He said: “I believe it is more economical and socially wise to complete projects that are already on-going, because public funds have already been invested by the past administrations that awarded the contracts. It will amount to wastage for us to just come and abandon projects when monies have already been invested on them simply because we want to initiate new ones,” he said.
