The Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi did not travel with the team on Sunday night due to ‘pressing personal issues’, but will link up with the rest of the squad on today.
After arriving Cape Town yesterday for tomorrow’s AFCON 2015 qualifier against South Africa, the Super Eagles had its first training session for the match at 8pm local time, which is 7pm Nigerian time.
In his absence, Dan “the Bull” Amokachi, handled yesterday’s work-out. The team is camped at the serene Southern Sun hotel on the outskirts of Cape Town.
El-Kanemi Warriors goalkeeper David Obiozor didn’t also travel with the team as he was dropped, making it only two goalkeepers – Austin Ejide and Chigozie Agbim that will be registered for the game.
