Women are pinnacles for peace building

Community Initiatives to Promote Peace (CIPP) program of Mercy Corps Nigeria has said women are embroidered with qualities that enable them to spear head peace and conflict resolution initiatives in the country.
The CIPP Deputy Chief of Party at Mercy Corps Nigeria, Sani Suleiman stated this in his remarks at the 2021 International Women ‘s Day held in kaduna yesterday.
Suleiman said that qualities have made the Society to accept women’s roles in leadership and peacebuilding at the community level.”
He added that the theme for International Women’s Day 2021; Women in Leadership: achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world, is an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable efforts made by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
