Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia on Monday tasked 17 new Commissioners to work assiduously for the victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2027.
He urged them to eschew corruption and consider accountability and transparency as their watchwords.
“Out of the 17 commissioners, 8 old ones were re-appointed while 9 are new.”
Governor Alia further advised them to strive to project and promote the principle of state policies as contained in the constitution.
He said they were chosen because they are professionals who understand governance, transparency and discipline.
He said, “the journey ahead is even longer. You understand the vision and mission of this administration which should be fully executed. Open your doors to everyone and share what you have with them.”
