The secretary added that world bank HIV/AIDS program development project 2 (HSDP2) is already being implemented in 36 states of the federation including the FCT and National Agency for the control of Aids (NACA).

Demola also stated that, the world bank had also made the move to provide grants to Civil Society Organisations to carry out HIV/AIDs prevention in FCT through FACA in 2013, by placing the adverts in three dailies which gave about 97 Civil Society Organisations the opportunity as they submitted their expression of interest.

However, the Project Manager, FCT Agency for the control of Aids, Dr. Uche Okoro, expressed displeasure over the actions of few civil society organizations who were unlucky to secure the world bank HIV/AIDS grants and have since taken to the media to blackmail or dent the image of the agency.
