World Cup qualifier: Egypt sack coach after Gabon draw

Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have announced the sacking of Pharaohs head coach Hossam El-Badry after the 1-1 draw against Gabon on Sunday night.
The 61-year old was dismissed of his functions as head coach on Monday, September 6.
EFA confirmed the sack a statement : “The Egyptian Football Association would like to thank Hossam El-Badry and his technical staff for the work they have done for the national team.
“We wish them good luck and fortune in their future career. And the EFA will decide the new technical staff for the national team during the next 48 hours.”
