Arrangement has been concluded by the Yobe State Government to host the 38th National Qur’anic Recitation Competition (Musabaqah) slated to hold Friday 22 December, 2023.
In an interview with our reporter, Gov. Buni’s Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Communications and Strategy, Malam Yusuf Ali said, the event will be organized by the Musabaqah Foundation for Qur’anic Recitation in Nigeria, Centre for Islamic Studies, Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto.
“Recall, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry for Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idriss, expressed the interest of the Buni administration to host the 38th edition of the competition while speaking at the 37th edition of the competition held in Gusau, Zamfara state; while the Yobe emerge overall winner in the female category.”
He added that, with 20 days left for the event, the state government has put all the necessary preparations in place for the smooth organization of the national competition.
