You don’t exist in Anambra, forget winning elections – APGA tells APC

The All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), has asked the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), to bury its ambitions of winning elections in Anambra State, saying that the APC lacks the political structure needed to succeed in the state.
APGA National Chairman, Sly Ezeokenwa, stated this in response to APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje’s call for party loyalists to bring Anambra into the APC fold, starting with the 2025 governorship election.
Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja yesterday, Ezeokenwa said, the APC was not a political party that exists in Anambra State, adding that it has no structure and no elected officials.
Corroborating this view, immediate past National Chairman and current member of the party’s Board of Trustees, Victor Oye, criticized Ganduje’s ambitions, saying, “Ganduje is my friend, but isn’t it laughable that Kano, his home state, is in the hands of the NNPP, yet he’s talking about winning Anambra?
“Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second term is already secured with the Supreme Court judgment affirming APGA’s leadership,” he said.
