The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, yesterday presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
The proposed budget, tagged the ‘Budget of Economic Growth and Stability’, is the largest in the state’s history, with a total estimate of over N382.5 billion.
This marks the sixth budget Engr. Sule has laid before the Assembly since assuming office, reflecting his administration’s commitment to fostering economic growth and consolidating the gains of his governance.
The Governor highlighted key areas of focus, including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and agriculture, emphasizing that the 2025 budget aims to build a more resilient and prosperous Nasarawa State.
In his address, Governor Sule noted that the record-breaking budget demonstrates his administration’s resolve to continue delivering on its promises to the people.
He called on the Assembly members to expedite their review and approval process to enable timely implementation.
The presentation was witnessed by prominent members of the state government, including the Nasarawa State Accountant General, and former Speaker of the Assembly Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed.
