Some youths under the umbrella of Youth Vanguard, an Abuja based youth group, have described as unfortunate the alleged impeachment ploy by some national assembly members against President Goodluck Jonathan, threatening to stage a peaceful protest against the move, at the National Assembly complex, in Abuja.

According to the National Coordinator of the group, Prince Ebile Dudu, who made this known while briefing newsmen on the development, during a recent press conference in Abuja, stressed that if the plan is not dropped by the lawmakers, members of the group might be forced to on December 16, to openly register their disgust against the removal action.

He warned that the group might also be forced to release the name of the legislators that signed the purported impeachment process, and as well publish the amount they have received since 2011 as constituency allowance and the project they have actually done in their respective constituencies.

The group noted the impeachment move was not timely, because the election is around the corner, and should have allowed Nigerians to vote the President out during the polls, if he had committed any of the alleged crimes.
