Yuletide: Muslim woman distributes food stuff to Christian widows, orphans

A Muslim woman, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjan has distributed food stuff to Christian widows and orphans for the celebration of the forthcoming Christmas festivity in Kaduna State.
Speaking during the presentation of food stuffs to the widows at Christ Evangelical Church Ministry Sabon Tasha, Chikun Local Government yesterday , She said it is her contribution to sustain peaceful coexistence ,religious tolerance and better understanding among different faith base organization in the state
Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani said, every year ,she visit the church when Christmas is approaching to help widows with new wrappers and share foodstuffs to them.
Similarly, she donated new cloths to orphans, street destitute with Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs so that they can celebrate this season in joy and happiness.
“I am happy helping widows, orphans, IDPs and other street destitute that are in need of some humanitarian assistance,” She said.
Ramatu who is a Peace Ambassador in Nigeria and Interfaith Mediation Specialist said , Nigerians must remember that they are created by one God.”
Responding, the General overseer of the church, Pastor Yohanna Buru thanked the donor for her generosity toward the Christian widows and orphans,
Buru said, she has done many beautiful things toward helping the church widows and orphans.
