Zamfara by-election: APC alerts security over alleged PDP plan to use thugs

Zamfara State chapter of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) has allegedly uncovered plans by the ruling PDP to use 1000 political thugs to disrupt the flow of awaiting by-election slated to hold on the 5th of December.
In a press conference by the Zamfara State Chairman of the APC, Lawali Liman Kaura, that the ruling PDP through one of the close associate to the Governor identified as Dankalili, had recruited 1000 political thugs ahead of next weekend by-election in Bakura local government area.
“We have reliably gathered that, the said Dankalili had on behalf of the ruling PDP, recruited 1000 stubborn political thugs to embark on nasty job on the by-election day with a view to scare away all APC supporters to pave opportunity for PDP to win.
“Initially, the hired thugs were accommodated in Gusau the state capital, but later were relocated to Funtua local government area of Katsina State and will remain there until the 5th of December when they will be conveyed to Bakura for their filthy job”, Lawali Kaura has alleged.
He further informed that, the leadership of the APC had already notified all the security agencies in the state, only waiting for their prompt action hoping to see the alleged nasty plan is derailed even before the election day.
Lawali has also alleged that, number of APC supporters in Bakura local government area were currently experiencing attack and other insulting approaches by the thugs assigned by the PDP, the situation which compelled them to relocate to the neighboring local government areas for safety.
