…Says Military Personnel in uniform were seen dialoguing with bandits

A federal lawmaker from Zamfara State Hon. Aminu Jaji has again call for more sincerity and commitment in resolving issus of insecurity in the north Western part of the country, even as he asked the Federal Government through National Security Adviser, the Zamfara State Governor to stop playing with Nigerians intelligent by dialoguing with kidnappers

Jaji who was the former Chairman National Security and lntelligance Committee said enough of the one minute silent, adding that some element in the government are not ready and committed to ending the issue of insecurity in the country

Jaji who further urge the government to stop playing with the intelligence of the people, said that government knows some of the people perpetrating the act, adding nigeria have what it takes in ending issus of banditry in the region,
but there is no political will to ending the issue. “To end insecurity in Nigeria is very possible,but they must be synergy with the security Agency.”

He said”Our challenges yesterday,today and tomorrow is the same thing,most especially me that came from Zamfara state representing the affected people.

The insecurity remain a major issue in my state and other state in the North despite the fact that each state in Nigeria today has its own peculiar problem related to insecurity.

“It is very necessary for people to be aware of what we are facing from Zamfara state from my constituency and the North West.

“This issue of insecurity has become a serious challenges and looking at the fact that for the past three weeks,there is a lot of blame game between the Zamfara state government and the federal government on the issue of dialogue,which I find unpalatable,looking at the fact that issue of security is not something we should be playing with,has its something we have to give holistic approach in other to deal with it, decisively, but I saw the minister of defence saying it is the community that are doing dialogue with the bandit and most of the video clip I was opportune to see,I saw some military personnel in uniform during the dialogue session, so I become so concern, because if your saying the dialogue is for the community and it for free without the intervention of the federal government,the military and other security Agencies, why is the military seen there and after the said dialogue was when student of Federal University gusau was kidnapped,so it very worrisome to people like me that came with from that area,that how can we be playing politics with the life and property of the people.

“It is not enough for federal government to debunked that they are not in a meeting with the bandit, but should find out,who are the people in military uniform at the seen of that dialogue.

The people of Zamfara state hold a duty to know who participated in that dialogue and it is government responsibility to come out to tell who and who came for the community dialogue and under who’s instructions did the military men came.

“Going by the international statendad of dialogue,it is free and it’s allowed,but must follow the due process,noting that by law,such organization should have been proscribe has terrorist group.

Going by the information and the people that are in such business

“If you said that the community is doing dialogue for free with the people,what about the bandit that are with sufisticated weapon and where the weapon?

Are going to surrender it to the community or to the government, this are what everyone is asking inrespective if your from Zamfara state or not.

“Because the weapon with this guy’s is unimaginable,so saying your dialogueing with this guy’s for free means your calling for something else.

I have said on my many occasions that in Zamfara state the previous administration engage in dialogue with this bandit and it came out with nothing.

“If truely the federal government want to end banditary through dialogue, before they do anything they have to invite people that serve from 2015 to date and people that participated in the dialogue weather during their steal worship or otherwise.

“They should explain to the federal government what they have achieved during their steal worship has governor so that the security Agency and other people will learn from where they stop, because it’s growing to a challenge where no body know where it will end.

“As a former chairman national security and intelligents I said it so many times,I didn’t see any programs, policy by either the government being at the state or national level is ready to fight this menace. I didn’t see it.

So it is something we have to urge both the federal and state government not to be playing with the intelligent of the common people, that this thing must be address squarely and issue of blame game must be stopped.

Just last week after they kidnapped the federal University gusau students and another one at katsina, people will start saying there is no need to take their children to school again because they are not safe.

That means the education system in the not will be crippled by the activities or this criminals.

Bringing motion to the flow of the house by the day to talk about killing in various constituency, observing a minute silence and calling on different security Agencies to take steps and constituting committee will not solve the problem.

The only way to solve the problem is for both federal and state government to come together and be sincere about it.
