The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara State Command, Sani Mustapha has tasked the Amagamated Traders Association to be sincere and transparent while carrying out their businesses in the state.
The Commandant made the assertion while hosting the association, saying that the enabling Act of the Corps 2003 Part 1 section 3 (g) empowers the Corps to monitor the activities of the trade associations across the nation.
He also charged the phone dealers and scrapped materials dealers’ wing of the association, to ensure that Illicit trade of stolen phones and vandalized properties are prohibited.
He further tasked them to be security conscious and report any suspected merchants or dealers of prohibited goods to law enforcement agencies.
