Zamfara to collaborate with NAPPS for quality education

The Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board (ZSUBEB) has called on the National Association of Proprietor of Private Schools (NAPPS) to collaborate with the state government with a view to ensure quality education in the state.
In a statement which was made available to our reporter by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Malam Ibrahim Musa Maizare, the call was made by the Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu, who received leaders of the NAPPS in his office that paid congratulatory visit over his appointment.
The chairman said, the administration of Governor Bello Matawalle made it obligatory for the board to keep its doors opened for any organization or individual willing to contribute towards promoting education sector to the greater height in order the state to achieve bright future.
“The board is ever ready to entertain and welcome no matter amount of support and assistance in whatever form aimed at addressing problems bedevilling the education sector, as no meaningful developments must be achieved without collaborations.
“I am assuring you quick response positively to any matter that need urgent attention by the board, and to provide room for constructive criticism, for resolutions to problems surrounding education sector is a duty for all”, the Chairman has assured.
Earlier, the Chairman of the NAPPS, Alhaji Isma’il Husaini Moriki, has requested for the frequent involvement of Private school teachers in training and retraining programme organised by the board, adding that, “The statistics showed that the association was contributing 40% in the development of education in the state”.
