Zazzau Emirate Council dismisses palace guard for gang rape

The Zazzau Emirate Council,  said it has dismissed with immediate effect, a palace guard, (Dogari) Sama’ila Abubakar Rimin Tsiwa from the services of the emirate for raping a lady on a mission to the palace.

This was contained in a statement by the Media and Publicity Office of the Emir  signed by Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai and made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.

The  statement  stated that  the dismissed palace guard was said to have lured the lady who was preparing for a wedding and came to seek assistance from the Emir through him.

The statement further stated that instead of taking the lady to the Emir, His Highness Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, the suspect lured her to a location with friends where they gang raped her.

“The Council has directed the Police to speed up with their investigations and ensure prosecution of the culprits without delay.

“It also promises to follow up with the case and ensure justice done to the lady,” the statement concluded.
