Confirming the development, the Executive Secretary, Delta State Micro-Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (DEMSMA), Mrs. Shinute Bello, said N-power Agro beneficiaries had been given the opportunity to benefit from the loan scheme because they are Deltans, explaining that applying for loan through the ongoing registration exercise in Abraka was not a guarantee that they would access the loan, and that certain requirements have to be met for the loan to be given to them.
But investigation revealed that the loan assessment had been difficult for the seekers who alleged bribe takings and other related act.
Some of the applicants who spoke to our reporter on the condition of anonymity, alleged that their efforts apart from the registration in the N-power had met a brick wall as none officials were willing to assist them succeed.
