Ahead of next year general elections in the country, a Cleric in Benin,Apostle Matthew Omorodion, has urged Nigerians to desist from evil acts such as the shedding of innocent blood that could lead to war and which could eventually lead to disintegration of the nation.
The General Overseer of Deliverance Healing Miracle Church of God made the call during the Good Friday service in Benin City, where he held that shedding of innocent blood and the cry of Nigerians has reached the ears of God who asked him, “to tell Nigerians to be careful and repent from their evil ways”.
The preacher said God is aware of, “The plans by these evil perpetrators to block roads and shed innocent blood in this country and he is hereby warning that this evil sect jettison these plans or they shall be destroyed by earthquake”.
“God is warning all Nigerians to desist from acts that are capable of leading to war; that would claim many lives and make them flee their homes. He, the Lord is the owner of the world and there is no use killing one another over vanity”.
He said God especially wants, ‘Men of God’ as preachers and teachers of his word to, “also intercede for this country in their respective Ministry to cancel anything that will cause war”.
He said that there is nothing too difficult for the Lord and to avert the looming danger warning that Nigerians should humble themselves and seek the face of the Lord.
