From Yakubu Mustapha, Minna

Niger state governor, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, has urged the electorates in the state not to sell their votes or compromise their position because of financial inducement as 2015 general elections draw closer.

Aliyu made this call yesterday in Minna while receiving a delegation from Magama local government on a solidarity visit on the appointment and reappointment of their sons and daughters into the state executive council.

He alleged that some members of the opposition political parties in the state have been going round the various constituencies to buy the votes of the voters.

He stated that if they succumb to such antics, they would be compromising the future of their children and development of the state.
