A group under APCP nProgressive Forum in Bauchi has vowed to support Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar in the 2019 governorship election.
To this end, the group said it has set up a platform called APC Progressive Forum that originated from 2015 governorship aspirants, and wish to mobilize the rest of the people for the task ahead.
The secretary of the Forum, Alhaji Chndo Abdu, in courtesy call on the State Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Uba Ahmed Nana, said that the time had come for the people to forget their differences and work towards the return of the party in the state and people to re-launch themselves in the politics of progress.
He said that the people had wrongfully condemned the present administration despite the laudable projects in the state, adding that people must be properly positioned and physically seen to be supporting the Governor in his quest to achieve his developmental programmes.
“So, our mission is very simple: to bring people from the seven 2015 aspirants together from wherever they are, for them to provide their support for the reelection of Governor of Abubakar, That is what we would be championing”, Chindo said
In his response, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Uba Ahmed Nana, assured members of the forum that his doors were open for the progress of the party in the state.
