The presidential ambition of Gombe State Governor received a boost when a group under the auspices of Talban Gombe endorsed him for the post. The group disclosed this in a press statement signed by its coordinator, Hon. Sani Garba and made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
According to the group, Governor Dankwambo has a track record as a former Accountant-General of the nation to be financially discipline, accountable and prudent.
The statement added, as Governor of Gombe state, Dankwambo has executed many infrastructure, water supply, agriculture, education, change and has taken the state to greater height in terms of massive development.
Similarly, the Yobe indigenes in Kaduna state has decided to honour their Governor, Geidam with an award of excellent as the best governor since the creation of the state. The group disclosed after its 2018 general meeting held in Kaduna yesterday.
The Yobeans commended Governor Geidam over his achievements in the areas of infrastructural development, agriculture, education, water supply, electricity project and civil servants welfare.
“We also appreciate him for prudently utilizing the state funds in executing projects that are of beneficial to the masses; such as the establishment of a Special Hospital, Teaching Hospital, construction of Sahara Desert Road and electricity project in many communities among others.
