From Yakubu Mustapha Minna

Rivers State Governor and PDP Presidential hopeful Governor Nyesom Wike has assured to end banditry activities and restore peace if elected as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He made this known at PDP Secretariat

in Minna, Niger State, after a meeting with 98 PDP delegates ahead of the party’s National Convention

He advised the PDP delegates from Niger state and Nigeria not to be sentimental in voting for candidate but a Nigerian candidate like him that is fearless, strong and courageous in moving the country forward.

Wike however described as unfortunate and unfair the granted of Presidential pardon to former Governors of Plateau and Taraba states by President Muhammadu Buhari, saying the decision will only draw the country back as far as fighting corruption is concerned.
