The Commandant Warrant Officers Academy, Major General AG Mamuda has urged all officers and soldiers to remain proactive in the discharge of their responsibilities.

General Mamuda was speaking as the Special Guest of Honor at the 2024 Joint Nigerian Army West African Social Activities for all Nigerian Army Schools and units within Zaria held at the Depot NA Parade ground at the weekend.

He also reminded them of the need to maintain the core values of the Nigerian Army, which include loyalty, self-service, courage, discipline, integrity, and respect for others at all times.

According to him, this is a gentle reminder as he believes that their various commanders at all levels periodically speak about them.

The Special Guest of Honor charged them to remain focused and highly resilient to all forms of distractions that are capable of affecting their ability to discharge duties professionally in line with the global best practices.

He said this is particularly important, especially now that the Nigerian Army is engaged in so many operational tasks geared towards ensuring peace and stability across the length and breadth of our country.

Maj. General Mamuda, therefore, commended officers and soldiers within Zaria for their level of discipline and dedication to duty during the year 2024.
