The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Suleiman Abba has confirmed that 30 police officers are still missing from the attack on Police College in Gwoza, noting that one out of the earlier numbers declared missing returned to work last week.

He said the police authority is hoping that those still missing will resurface and join their family soon, adding that the force is ready to offer any assistance to regain their health and return to work.

Abba stated this yesterday at the Force headquarters, Abuja during the launch of the Nigerian Human Right Practice Manual and the Human Right desk Officer Guidance Manual.

He said the police is determined to create a safe and secured environment in view of the forth coming 2015 general elections and has zero tolerance on thugs.
