Nation building: NGO proffers solution to FCT, national challenges

A Nongovernmental Organisation, Awakening The Sleeping Giant Leadership Initiative, is to undertake and find solutions to the various problems confronting the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, and across states.
President Board of Trustees of the NGO, Olisa Alex Uzoewulu(Wulus) disclosed this at the inaugural brief ceremony of the Initiative held at the Bon Hotel in Abuja yesterday.
He said that, “In three weeks from today Awakening The Sleeping Giant Leadership Initiative will undertake the various problems confronting the Federal Capital Territory Abuja-as the bundle of solutions will be made available to those concerned. The national solution will be followed with all the presidential candidates with solutions on the country, nepotism and tribalism as the most de-investment concept.”
Wulus, stressed that, the Initiative is a continuous process till the nation achieves the political, social and economic status admissible and admirable-reflecting the gifts of nature and natural endowment.
He said the solutions proffered after the undertaking will be made available to those concerned as the Initiative would be opened to collaboration with other organisations to move the nation forward.
Wulus assured that the Initiative will change the narrative to solutions, a factory of ideas.
“In our ideas factory we have researched on most problems confronting the Nigeria nation and expressed solutions. We have been on this for the past two and a half years. We will make these available to the public so as not to deny our leaders the opportunity of not knowing or to know but do nothing or nor knowing bout can’t deny solution concept. Ours may not be the best or generally accepted, but yet it is available to leaders in any position that do not have respect for ideas and the generators respectively fail.”
He said the Initiative will be more active after the 2019 election.
Wulus also called for a searchlight to be beamed on political parties noting that the political parties form the bedrock upon which democracy thrives.
