Bandits: Niger community decries Military withdrawal

Allawa community, one of the most bandits affected areas in Shiroro local government of Niger state has decried the withdrawal of military operations following the recent killing of five Nigerian Army and a Civil Defense Corps in the area.
The President of Lakpma Youths Assembly, Jibrin Abdullahi Allawa made this known yesterday in a press briefing in Minna.
He said that the bandits since the withdrawal are having a field day by attaking over 100 communities and looting their properties to their camps in the forest.
Alawa hinted that Allawa and Gyaramiya communities are bing invaded on daily basis and ransacked by the bandits, making the people hopeless and stranded.
He further appealed to the federal government for the establishment and reinforcement of Joint Task Force in Kushaka, Kurebe, Manta,Galkogo and Kwaki respectively.
