The Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro has described yesterday’s bomb blast that killed scores in Nyanya motor park as cruel and barbaric.
Moro who made the condemnation in a statement issued yesterday by his Special Assistant on Media, George Udoh, lamented that, “It is unthinkable that rational minds will just wake up with only one devilish thing in mind; to cause sorrow to families, wreak deep psychological pain on the society for reasons yet to be known by Nigerians”.
He further decried the continued senseless killing of Nigerians by members of Boko Haram, maintaining that he was deeply worried that noting in the world could justify the dastardly act being perpetuated by the terrorist group.
The minister urged them embrace dialogue and shone violence.
While commiserating with the families of the defenceless students who lost their lives in the dastardly act, the Minister assured Nigerians that the current administration will continue to do everything within available resources to discharge his constitutional and statutory responsibilities of providing secured environment for Nigerians and foreigners domiciled in the country.
