Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has described former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida as a true patriot and nationalist who gave his all to ensure the unity and survival of the country.
This was contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel-Berje.
He said to mark the the birthday of the elder statesman at 80.
The Governor in a congratulatory message, said IBB’s doggedness and resolve in nation’s building were crucial to the stability, national and international unity as well as development of the country.
He said the former military president has remained invaluable guardian, indispensable, and relevant in the country’s match towards nationhood.
