The Adamawa State Government has donated N27 million to the families of slain General Dzarma Nzirkuzu and seven military officers killed in an ambush by ISWAP terrorists in Borno state recently.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri announced the donation during the burial of the officers at the 23rd armoured Brigade barrack’s cementry in Yola, weekend, describing their killing as monumental loss to humanity.
Governor Fintiri said that the financial support to the families of the departed heros was to appreciate the modest contributions of the gallant officers.
“N10million will be given to the family of General Zrikusu and N17million to the families of the other officers and men of the Nigerian Army.”
