Accident Prevention and Rescue Initiative (APRI) in partnership with the National Conference of Directors/Chief Road Traffic Officers of the Federation has unveiled plans to organize Road Traffic Officers Annual Conference and Awards in an efforts to further enlighten road users nationwide and recognize Nigerians who in one or the other contributed their quota in reducing road traffic accidents in the country.
While unveiling the plans in Abuja, the Director APRI who doubles as a consultant to the National Conference of Directors/Chief Road Traffic Officers of the Federation Prince Fidelis Nnadi lamented the high rate of road crashes in the country which results in loss of lives and property in the country.
Baring his mind on the proposed Road Traffic Officers Annual Conference and Awards, the Head Special Trade Licence Department of Road Traffic Services popularly known as VIO, Abuja, Dr. Babatunde Aregbesola lauded the initiative and pledged the support of VIO Abuja in order to ensure the success of the proposed annual event.
Members of the Road Traffic Officers Annual Conference and Awards planning committee includes Engr. Emmanuel Uwalaka, Regional Administrator Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHAssociation UK), Emmanuel Sunday of Big Team Consultants and other eminent Nigerians.
The Committee has hit the ground running promising to deliver a world class enlightenment and Awards that would revolutionize awareness creation on road traffic crashes issues in the country.
