Zamfara State branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has called on its members to lower the charges being imposed on clients who engage them for legal services.

The Chairman of the Zamfara State branch of the NBA, barrister Junaidu Abubakar stated this during ‘Law Week’, saying the volume of charges on the clients sometimes are more than necessary.

The Chairman urged the teeming members of the NBA to always exercise their primary duties with simpler approaches with a view to ensure needed confidence is built for the general public.

“A lawyer should always serve as a friend whose service is affordable to all citizens when struggling for their rights, as that can quickly change the believe that, a solicitor is a different person who only becomes available for well to do clients”.
