The Federal Government has declared Thursday, May 29, 2014, as Public Holiday to celebrate this year’s Democracy Day.
Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro who made the declaration in a statement issued yesterday by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Fatima B. A. Bamidele, urged Nigerians to actively support and participate in democratic governance.
The statement also called on Nigerians to join hands with President Goodluck Jonathan in his effort to build a peaceful and united nation.
