The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas on Friday condoled governor, Babagana Zulum over his Media aide demised, Isa Gasau.
Agbu who described the death of Isa Gasau as devastating prayed God to forgive his shortcomings during his time on earth and the family to bear the irreparable lost.
Mr Emmanuel Bello, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Digital Communication, said these during a condolence visit to the Correspondent’s chapel office in Jalingo, On Friday.
Gov Kefas said Gusau demise is at the time when the nation and Borno state need his services most. He said Gusau was a shinning example of professionalism in the media world whose record in service are emulative.
Gov Kefas further said Gusau years as a reporter with Daily Trust Newspaper and his subsequent assignments in public office further established his brand for efficiency and passion for work.
According to the Governor, “Gusau was a consumate man, will be sorely missed by his colleagues and the people of Borno state where he worked as spokesman in various governments. I prayed for the repose of Gusau soul while condoling with family and associates of the late reporter.” He said.
In the same vein, Mr Gabriel Yough, chairman NUJ Correspondent’s Chapel while offering condolences to Borno State Government, Gasau’s family and the entire media community, described Governor Agbu’s visit as a relief, considering the shock that came with the news of Isa Gasau’s demised.
