Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has congratulated Hajiya Ramatu Abonbo Mohammed on her appointment as the Director-General, DG, National Commission for Museums and Monuments.
In a congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor described her appointment as another privilege given to a Nigerlite to support the Tinubu-led administration in achieving the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He applauded the President for the appointment and promised that the appointee would carry out her duties as expected.
Hajiya Ramatu Abonbo Mohammed was Niger State Commissioner for Investment and Transport during the immediate past administration of Sen. Abubakar Sani Bello.
Similarly, Governor Umar Bago has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Prof. Muhammad Umaru Ndagi as a member of the Board and Management Team of the National Hajj Commission NAHCON to represent the North Central Zone of the Country.
He said the appointment of a Nigerlite as a Zonal representative is coming at a time when the State Government is also making a deliberate effort to ensure that intending Pilgrims in the State have a smooth, pleasant and successful Pilgrimage.
Bago appreciated the President for finding a Nigerlite worthy of the appointment, assuring that Prof. Ndagi would be a good representative of the State and the North Central Zone. While he called on Prof. Ndagi to uphold his dignity and integrity as well as make the State proud.
