A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has reacted to the resignation of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar from the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
Referring to Atiku’s resignation, Sani said the Admin has left the Group.
Peoples Daily reports that Atiku had yesterday handed his resignation letter to the PDP.
The letter was addressed to the PDP Chairman of his Ward, Jada 1 in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The former president blamed his exit from the former ruling party on the deviation from its founding principles.
He alleged irreconcilable differences within the former ruling party.
However, Sani in a snide post on X said, “Waziri; When the Admin left the group.”
The former PDP presidential candidate is currently a key member of African Democratic Congress, (ADC), opposition coalition.
There are indications that Atiku will contest the coalition’s presidential ticket ahead of the 2027 election.
