The Taraba State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has presented flags to its 16 Local Government Area candidates ahead of the November 8, 2025, Local Government election.
Party’s state chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, who presented the party’s flags congratulated the candidates on emerging victorious in the party’s nomination processes and successful screening by the Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission (TSIEC).
Bawa reminded them that they were beneficiaries of God’s will and must commit themselves to the important task of winning elections for the party.
He urged the candidates to acquaint themselves with Governor Agbu Kefas’ style of governance and work towards strengthening grassroots governance in their respective LGAs.
According to him, “You are certainly not the best persons in your various Local Governments, but beneficiaries of God’s will, hence you must commit yourselves to the important task of the party winning elections at all levels.”
