Tabarakallah Masha’Allah Global Resources Limited, a Kano-based Real estate and property management company has empowered 500 women on small scale businesses in the state.
PEOPLES DAILY reports that the empowerment is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS), aimed at giving back to the immediate communities where it is operating.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of Customer Service Week 2025 celebration, held at the company’s headquarters in Tofa Local Government in Saturday, Bashir Musa Abdullahi, Chief Executive Officer of the firm said the beneficiaries were trained on various skills.
Represented by Alhaji Sani Umar, Manager of the company, Abdullahi said the beneficiaries received training on liquid soap making, pomade production and local spaghetti making, aimed at becoming self reliant.
He explained that “during the Customer Service Week, bright smiles filled with faces of school children as they received new uniforms during the event. We believe that every child deserves a chance to learn with pride because education remains of the strongest foundations we can build together,” he said.
Giving an insight about the company, Abdullahi said since inception in 2011, the firm had developed 1000 hectare of land, out of which 559 was developed as Tabarakallah Layout for “housing solutions and well-planned infrastructure for thousands of families and businesses.
“Out of this, 559 hectares have been approved in a master plan comprising eight distinct segments. These include designated residential and commercial plots, each equipped with essential amenities such as access roads, utilities, and community facilities.
“The remaining 441 hectares remain undeveloped, offering tremendous opportunities for future expansion and sustainable growth.
“With over 6,000 plots already allocated, Tabarakallah City stands as a testament to the company’s vision, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to real estate excellence,” he disclosed.
In his remarks, the Deputy Governor of the state, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Express delight about the business, which he described as the largest in Northern Nigeria.
He expressed the commitment of the Kano government to support and collaborate with the company in the development of housing schemes in the state.
“We will continue to be proud of you. Let me assure you that Kano State Government will always be ready and willing to cooperate and collaborate with you in the development of housing schemes in the state. Kano is a mega city, a very ancient city.
“ This is a city that has been bustling for years, for centuries, if you like. Kano is a jalla da babbar hausa, Yaro ko da me, Kozo, and fi ka.
“As the development, Masha Allah, Tabarak Allah, lay out in Kano, a layout that is bigger than any layout throughout the Northern Nigeria,” he said.
