Delta Poly: Lecturer, 2 others hospitalized for venereal disease after raping student

A randy lecturer and two others at the state-owned Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Delta state are currently battling staphylococcus disease after they had allegedly made love to a 19 year old female student of the school.

Reports said that the lecturers admitted into the hospital may not make it as their genital organs have allegedly swollen up, emitting offensive water odour.

But the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Celestina Kalu said that six suspected cultists were arrested on Thursday by the Police in the area following a tip off of their involvement in cult-related activities.

As it were, the female student victim claimed to be virgin as if to be keeping that old value of keeping her virginity until she gets married, was said to have been hoodwinked into the operational base of the randy lecturers where they pervasively descended on her via sexual intercourse.

A second-year student of Mass Communication, it was reliably gathered that the lecturer had assured the girl of passing all her courses if she consents to having sex with them.

But this was not to be, when the female student bluntly refused and threatened to report them to the school authority and not suspecting any foul play, the female student allegedly tried to leave when one of the lecturers allegedly slammed the door with a padlock; a situation she was rough handled and pushed to the bed before she was pummeled.

Expectedly, there have been sinister report of sexual harassment by some of the male lecturers especially those at the Mass Communication Department in most cases threaten the female students for options of either sex or fail exams.

But the Rector of the school, Dr. Mrs. Edna Mogeku, in her reaction said that the school authority was looking into various petitions that specifically bothers on sexual harassment, adding that some lecturers names have been compiled with a view to showing them the way out.

Further investigations revealed that some of the girls that may have been allegedly slept with by these randy lecturers often times find their score marks at failure; many of whom are now living between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Apart from allegations of sexual harassment, cult related activities including robbery cases have been on the increase in Ogwashi-Uku and the Polytechnic in the recent times; a situation during night fall there are sporadic shootings by suspected cult group members and other gangsters.
