The Abuja Muslim Forum, an umbrella body of all Muslim organizations in Abuja and its environs had concluded plans to inaugurate its executive Saturday.
This was made known Thursday in Abuja during a courtesy visit by the forum to Peoples Media Limited, publishers of Peoples Daily titles, Peoples Daily Newspaper and Peoples Daily Weekend.
In his remarks, the leader of the delegation, Ustaz Bar. Lukeman Ahmad said the event would take place in Abuja Central Mosque with the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) who is also the Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Forum chairing the inauguration ceremony.
Utaz Ahmad who thanked Peoples Media management for receiving them warmly informed that the forum was formed in 1991 making it to be 32 years in existence.
Continuing, he noted that Peoples Media had been quite supportive to the forum and asked for more robust partnership that will uplift the relations.
He promised that the incoming Executive would be made to intensify the synergy for maximum publicity and mutual benefit, asking that Peoples Media should not be tired of the collaboration.
Responding, Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of Peoples Media, Hameed Bello (Phd) who pledged total support to the forum stated that they were under obligation to report all faith recognizing the fact that ours was a diverse society.
Bello urged them to always focus on Unity, peaceful coexistence, security and stability of the nation in all their activities.
