Abuja traders union begin construction of housing estate for members in FCT

Shelter or Housing runs number 3 among fundamental basic need otherwise known as basic human necessities second to food and clothing.

The National Association of Nigerian Traders Abuja branch felt obligation to render such to its members in  FCT.

While performing the ground breaking ceremony for the the construction of the Estate for traders in FCT, the Chairman of the National Association Nigerias Traders(NANT) in Abuja who doubles as the BOT chairman of the  Corporative Society in the territory, Ambassador Prince Edozie urged members to support the initiative as basic mortgage arrangements are also in place to ensure the success of the project for members 

Ambassador Edozie while responding to questions raised about the sustainability of the project disclosed that they had to engage a world class and  formidable indigenous company for the project stressing that they can deliver it on time for all traders in the FCT who have enrolled in the estate project.

He was affirmative that the project will be completed as planned adding that the two developer companies  engaged  have all the  financial muscle and technical know how to deliver a qualitative projects that will stand out for traders in FCT on time.

In an interview with the

Managing Director of DataBridge International Company, Engr  Simon Ofobuzo explained that the project involved about 7.5 hecters of land adding that it also includes the construction of medium and low income housing units for both the rich and the not too rich traders in the  territory.

Engineer Ofobuzo claimed that his company has all it take to deliver on the mandate to which it was given by the traders revealing that they were given just a 24 months to complete and deliver the projects.

He said his establishment with a ten year experienced had handled such buildingBy projects for different clients at several occasion within and outside the territory.
