The Adamawa state government has warned against any protest on economic hardship.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri issued the warning through a press statement released on Monday by his chief press secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, alleging that some unpatriotic people are sponsoring miscreants to unleash mayhem and upturn the existing peace in the state.
Fintiri in the statement stressed that, intelligence report at their disposal have revealed that, some youths are gearing up to break in to Government and private owned warehouses in the State for their selfish interests.
He noted that his Government will deal firmly with those out to threaten citizens over their personal interest.
He stated that Government will not stand by and watch hoodlums and their sponsors incite citizens to take the Law into their hands.
“I will not fold my arms and watch anyone or any group of people trying to sabotage the Government,” Governor Fintiri said.
