The Chairman, New Nyanya group of companies, High Chief Samuel Heinz, has commended the Supreme Court for the “fatherly” role it played in resolving the gubernatorial election appeals brought before it.
Specifically, he said the judgement on Nasarawa Governorship election appeal confirmed the people’s mandate on Abdullahi Sule having distinguished himself as Governor, during his first term in office.
Renowned businessman, made this known in a statement made available in Abuja, where he also commended the judiciary as truly the last hope of the common man in Nigeria, where some people find joy in oppressing the vulnerable.
Speaking further, Chief Samuel said; “The success story of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s dynamic leadership in Nasarawa state can not be over emphasized, and because of his sustained commitment to service delivery to the people, his first term in office was defined in the state as a feat worthy of emulation by other governors across the country.
“This is owing to the fact the Governor initiated several projects that tend to have direct impact on the lives of the people, which obviously earned him the name “Mr. Projects”, resulting in huge support at the March 18th, 2023 polls. And so quite clearly, and the State it cannot settle for less as it progresses .
Chief Heinz, who also lauded the Governor’s commitment to serve as exemplary, said the Nasarawa Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule is not one of such Chief Executives who govern in absentia, describing him as someone who is always on ground to ensure that governance succeeds and that issues are resolved amicably, no matter what tribe or religion one is espoused to.
According to the business mogul, “The Governor is neither tribalistic nor religious, and that he makes sure that the state is safe and conducive for everyone to go about their businesses without any form of harassment or intimidation. He added by saying Governor Sule’s quest for peace is second to none that is why the state is very peaceful and a large number of people working in Abuja can live in Nassarawa state and not feel as though they are living faraway from the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
For that reason, he says “It is important for us to commend the judiciary because other affected states are also celebrating outcome of the apex court’s verdict on their governorship elections and we have to continue to support the supreme court justices in order for them to discharge their duties in tandem with the oath they took before assuming that hallowed position in the society.
