The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has been assured of landslide victory in the February 2015 elections.

Prominent politicians of Southern senatorial district in Adamawa State gave the assurance weekend when the candidate’s campaign train visited Ganye, Toungo, Jada, Mayo Belwa and Nassarawo- Koma and Jada -Mbulo State Constituencies respectively.

The candidate of the party for Jada/ Ganye/ Toungo, Federal Constituency, Alhaji Umar Bello assured Ribadu that the Jada electorate’s votes in the scheduled February election and the result would be resounding victory for Ribadu and all the PDP candidates standing for the general elections.

According to Bello, Ribadu was urged to vie for the governorship of the party by prominent figures from Jada Local Government because he has been assessed to be a governorship material, whose credibility and administrative expertise is globally acclaimed.

He disclosed to Ribadu’s team that Jada is fundamentally a PDP area and would not renege in making sure that PDP emerges victorious in all elective posts to be contested for by the candidates of the ruling PDP in February.

Other PDP candidates from the area that spoke at the occasion also assured Ribadu and all the PDP candidates of resounding victory at the polls next February.

Also speaking, Senator Jonathan Silas Zwingina, who is the PDP senatorial candidature for Adamawa South district, promised to look into the plights of people of the area if elected, and to attract federal presence.
