Youth groups under the Umbrella of the Bauchi Youth Mobilization for Sanity and Peace have canvasses from the people of Bauchi State to come out and vote massively for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Mohammed Awwal Jatau in the forth coming general election
Chairman of the group, Lawal Mukhtar told newsmen in Bauchi yesterday at the end of their quarterly meeting that the purpose of their meeting was to promote Jatau’s political aspiration in order to ensure that he get the required votes to become the next governor of Bauchi State.
Mukhtar said Jatau will win convincingly in Bauchi South, Bauchi North and Bauchi Central senatorial districts.
“We want all hands to be on deck to promote him to enable him restore the glory of the state and to sustain the legacies left behind by his predecessors for the development of the state”.
Mukhtar said since Bauchi South produced the governor for 16 years, it’s now in the interest of fairness and brotherhood that Bauchi North was allowed to field an exemplary candidate like Jatau.
