Adopt improved productivity methods, Delta deputy Gov’s wife tells farmers

The wife of Delta State Deputy Governor, Mrs Ebierin Otuaro has challeged farmers in the state to adopt improved agricultural methods to improve productivity and tackle agronomic constraints.
Mrs Otuaro spoke to Journalists at a 3 day workshop organized by International Institute for Tropical Agriculture, (IITA) in conjunction with partnership initiatives for Niger Delta and Kolping Society of Nigeria, which started on Monday in Agbor.
She however, called on farmers to take advantage of the state government’s agricultural programmes and policies to better their lives, even as she harped on the profitability of agriculture for self reliance.
