According the Permanent Secretary, FCTA Common Services, Mrs. Olubunmi Oluwookere, the training programme aimed at empowering cash transfer beneficiaries with diverse entrepreneurial skills to bolster their businesses and safeguard against losses or misapplication of the funds when eventually paid.
Oluwookere, who was represented at the occasion noted the pivotal role which entrepreneurship education plays in fostering sustainable business growth.
She urged the participants to take advantage of the entrepreneurship course to enhance their enterprises.
Earlier, in his welcome remarks, the AEA’s Ag. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, expressed the agency’s commitment to supporting building entrepreneurs in FCT by unlocking their full potential and driving economic development in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as demonstrated by the FCT Minister, Chief Barrister Nyesom Wike.
He said: “What we will do going forward is to ensure that when this money comes, you put it into something that you are already doing that will bring more money.”

Mayo therefore encouraged them to apply the knowledge gained to propel their businesses to greater heights in their various field of endeavours in the society
