
…consult criminal law experts for advice- Judge advise

Again, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Monday, refused to entered his defence in the alleged terrorism charges brought against him by the Federal Government.
The embattled Kanu insisted that he has no case to answer against his earlier plan to call witnesses in his defence in the ongoing trial for alleged terrorism offences.
At the last adjourned date, Justice James Omotoso of the federal high court, Abuja, adjourned till October 27, on the instance of Kanu to enable him retrieve his case files from his ex lawyers.
However, when the matter was called, Monday, Kanu notified the court that he has gone through the case-file and has realised that there is no valid charge against him.
He argued that since he is convinced that there is no valid charge against him and that he was subjected to unlawful trial , there would no be need for him to conduct any defence.
Justice James Omotosho asked him to file a written address to that effect and serve the prosecution.
The court went ahead to advised him to consult experts in criminal law on the consequences of his option.
Meantime, the matter is adjourned till November 4th 5th and for the adoption of the final written addresses.
